Holliston – Alberta M.(Harmon)Anderson, 87, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough.
She was the wife of the late Gardner Harmon and Harold Anderson.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late George and Jennie
Mathews.
Mrs. Anderson had spent part of her life working as an interior decorator,
girl scout leader and active role in the Child Study Group before changing
careers and becoming a secretary prior to moving to Florida. While in Florida she became President to the Woman’s Group in Pompano Beach.
She is survived by her daughter, Andra (Bliss) Stone and her husband, John, of Milford; grandchildren, Wendy Arucdi and her husband, Joseph, Kenneth Bliss and his wife, Michele; great grandchildren, Joseph, Giovanna, Anthony, Zachary and Lucas; and loving family members, Verna Leemans and Carolyn Fairbanks. She was the sister of the late Richard Mathews.
A memorial service with Rev. Andrea Wyatt will be held at 11 am on Saturday Janary 14, 2006 in the First Congregational Church, Washington St., Holliston.
