Framingham-

Sheila M. Lamacchia, 91, of Framingham, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Agnes and William Kearney.

 

She worked for the New England Telephone Company for over 20 years as a Telephone Operator.  Her prior work included modeling and hostessing both at the Monticello and Chateau de Ville in Framingham for many years.  Sheila’s favorite passion was travelling back home to Ireland to see her family. She was a self taught piano and accordion player.

 

She is survived by her brother William (Ollie) Kearney of New Bedford; her granddaughter Denise Moore of Holliston, grandson, Sean Pisarro and his wife Elisabeth of Bourne; two great grandchildren, Alyssa Moore and Bryce Moore, both of Holliston as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Sheila Pisarro and her siblings, Thomas, Sean, Austin, Kathleen Sullivan, Mary Pope and Agnes (Aggie) Fahey.

A funeral home service will be held on Friday, March 31st at 11:00a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. Burial services will be private. A mass in her memory will be said on Tuesday, May 16th at 9:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
