Hopkinton – Rita M. Kinnarney, 76, died Saturday, March 20, 2004 at her home following
a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Robert E. Kinnarney who died in 1989.
Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Fisher) Lynch.
Mrs. Kinnarney had been an active volunteer for the Hopkinton Senior Center and Friends
of Hopkinton Senior Citizens, helping with the Senior Center lunch program, former
Thrift Shop and many other activities. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and knitting. Mrs.
Kinnarney loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Robert P. Kinnarney of North Conway, NH and Thomas A.
Kinnarney of Webster; one daughter, Kathleen R Lavalle of Upton; brothers, Robert
Lynch of Cotuit and Richard Lynch of Framingham; a sister, Doris Tedstone of New
Smyrna Beach, FL; and five grandchildren, Kelli Ann, Chelsea, Jenna, Joseph and Brooke.
She was the sister of the late Arthur Lynch, Jr.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 24, from the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57
Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton with a mass of Christian burial at St. John the Evangelist
Church, Church St., Hopkinton at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 23 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
