Millis –
Lorraine E. Hansen, 76, died March 7, 2003 at the Milford-Whitinsville Regional
Hospital in Milford. She was born in Paget, Bermuda the daughter of the late John F. and
Cecilia (McGonigle) Mason. She had worked at the Dennison Manufacture Co. in
Framingham, Ma. for many years as a quality control inspector. She was a resident of
Millis for 55 years.
She was known for her humor, loved her family and friends, enjoyed shopping, going to
restaurants and also enjoyed her many trips to the ocean in Maine.
She is survived by her former husband; Theodore Hansen of Millis, son; Glenn Hansen of
Westborough, daughters; Linda Thompson and her husband Kenneth of Lynnfield, MA,
Karen Ciaramicoli and her husband Dr. Arthur Ciaramicoli of Hopkinton and Laura
Chapman and her husband George of Upton, a sister; Joan Quigley of Holliston, 10
grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St.
Mary’s Church, Washington St., Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery,
Holliston. Calling hours at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16,
Holliston will be Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
