Hopkinton – Howard Schofield, 73, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the
Westborough Nursing home.
He was the husband of the late Patricia (Dowd) Schofield who died in 1984.
Born in Weston, he was the son of the late Arnold and Mary (Mara)
Schofield.
Formerly of Wayland and Weston, he had been a Hopkinton resident for more
than 40 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Schofield had
worked in the construction industry for many years.
He is survived by his sons, Craig Schofield of Plymouth and Weston
Schofield of Chelsea; daughter, Daphne Schofield of Bellingham; brothers,
Conrad Schofield, his twin Harding Schofield both of Landaff, NH; and
several grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Doug Schofield.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 12:00 at the Chesmore
Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton
Burial of Mr. Schofield’s ashes will follow
in the family lot in Mr. Auburn Cemetery, Hopkinton. Visiting hours will be
held prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00.
