Dear Diane and family ~ I just found out about your vast loss. I am so sorry. Your memorial video is a wonderfully tender tribute to your remarkable husband and father. Your hearts must be broken. We will pray for each of you that the chasm created by his passing on will be filled with wonderful memories, delightful stories that make you chuckle and laugh and the support of family and friends. He has been lifted up on angel wings and brought before his welcoming Lord. He will always watch over you and protect you. When the sun sets and we longer can see its glowing presence, it still is an active brilliantly shining sun. So, too, is Gerry.

Dear Diane & family: It\'s so difficult to find words at this point in time. The news of Jerry\'s passing is still raw and shocking. This is a lovely pic of Gerry; it reflects his larger than life \"persona\" so locked into my memories of him and of you Diane. His absence is felt here in Ottawa so many miles away. It\'s going to take time to get used to his absence. My heart goes out to you and to your family. May \"grace\" guide you in this next little while. I (we) are thinking of you here in Canada; you have played such an important part of our memories of family and how over the years you have added to our sense of belonging. Much love & tenderness, Winnie, Pat, & Johnny.

So sorry to hear of your loss Diane, though I am many miles further than my sister, as I\'m vacationing in the Pacific Island of Vancouver and in a place not very convenient to internet, occupational reasons for that, hidden by camping reasons for my grandson. Charlotte had a difficult time to reach any of us but was able to finally communicate to me about your loss and then I had Pat call her back. Know that your loss was heart felt across Canada as it is and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family as I am with mine. My son remembers our get togethers and has gotten to know Charlotte over the years, so has the same strong feelings of family that we as extended Irish do. Keep save and the best to all of your children. Love and sincere condolences.

We fondly remember Gerry at regattas where he would set up his tripod and camera to take photos of his daughters and the other girls on CRI rowing teams. He always provided beautiful photos of the teams. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Rob, Marian and Lizzie Weisman.

My sincere condolences to the Roy family. There is little I can say to ease your pain during this difficult time. May the fond memories of the times you shared bring you comfort and peace. We can look forward to the time when God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever found at Isaiah 25:8. My deepest sympathy to you all.
