Holliston – Frederick D. A. King, Jr., 77, died March 18, 2004 in Lakeland, FL
surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Josephine (Molinatto) King for 54 years.
Born in Hyde Park, he was the son of the late Frederick and Ariel (Higgins) King.
He was educated in Hyde Park schools and graduated from Northeastern University. He
served in the U. S. Army Air Corp.
Mr. King retired as President and CEO of Whitman and Howard Engineers and
Architects. He was also a past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He
served on the Holliston Planning Board and Conservation Committee. He was an avid
golfer, loved to paint and was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Beside his wife he is survived by his sons, Robert King and his wife Trisha of
Winterhaven, FL, Stephen King and his wife Linda of Holliston, Peter King and his wife
Lupe of Beverly, Thomas King and James King of Holliston, Scott King of Belmont, NH
and a daughter, Debra Koshivas and her husband Dean of Holliston; 13 grandchildren,
Jeremy of Winterhaven, FL, Nicholas of Rye, NH, James, Jacob, Sunnie, Pedro, Amanda
and Cassandra of Beverly, Nicole of Milford, Lauren and Jonathan Tetrault of Medway
and Dean and Christine Koshivas of Holliston and six great grandchildren. He was the
brother of the late Elizabeth King.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral
Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston www.chesmorefuneralhome.com. The
Rev. Ernst Batten will officiate. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
