Francis Xavier Walsh Jr., 54, of Milford died peacefully surrounded by friends and family, after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Umass Memorial Hospital on Lake Ave. in Worcester. Born in Brighton, MA., he was the son of the late Francis X. and Jennie P. (Nicholas) Walsh. He was also the husband of the late Roseanne (Zersky) who passed away in 1999.

A Marine Corp Veteran serving from 1970-1973 and then a Army National Guard Member serving from 1973-1997. Frank was also an avid History buff and reader. He enjoyed the Red Sox and collecting trains. He was also a 20 year employee with United Parcel Service.

He is survived by his children, Haley, Jahna, Oliver, and his little girl Chynna Sky Walsh all of Hopedale.

A committal prayer service will take place on Friday, August 25, at 1:15p.m. at the Bourne National Veteran’s Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton. www.chesmorefuneralhome.com
