Allan Henry Coutu, 52, of Wayland and formerly of Weymouth passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. Born in Quincy, MA on June 19, 1965, he was the son of Janice Austin of Holliston, MA and Henry Coutu and his wife Joan of Warwick, RI.

Allan was employed as a roofer for many years. He had a zest for life, always lighting up the room with his smile and being the life of the party. He had a love for all New England Sports. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many early mornings at the Cape Cod Canal. Allan was a talented landscaper and enjoyed gardening. He was also a talented musician and handy man.

Besides his parents, Allan is survived by his children, Nicole Coutu of Framingham, Alyssa Coutu of Waltham and David Coutu of Wayland and was the step-father to Daniel Russell of New Hampshire. He also leaves behind his sister Carolyn “Missy” O’Toole and her husband Jack of Holliston; his brother, Jeffrey Austin and his wife Noelia of California, and step-sister Lori Coletta and her husband David of Coventry, RI. He was the beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Allan was overjoyed to know that his eldest daughter was expecting his first grandson in November.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, June 19th at 1:00 pm at the Coutu Family Farm, 683 Adams St. Holliston. Friends are invited to join the family as they celebrate Allan’s life.
