Holliston-
Allison L. Simpson, 89, of Holliston, passed away December 22, 2012. She
was the wife of the late Gordon B. Simpson, who passed in 2010.
Allison was a former nurse in the children’s ward at Rhode Island
Hospital. She was also a baker in Wellesley and enjoyed being a mother and
housewife.
She is survived by her children, Tom Simpson and his wife Jane of Millis,
Andy Simpson and his wife Susan Stone of Hopkinton, Shirley Buckman and
her husband Ken of Canajoharie, NY and Peggy Jane Simpson, also from
Canajoharie, NY. She also leaves behind a sister, Pauline Hogg and her
husband Gordon of Medfield, as well as her grandsons, Danny and Michael of
Millis. She is predeceased by her siblings, Edward DeRoche, James
Robertson, and Margaret Hailer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27 from 5-8p.m. at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.

on Friday, December 28 at 1:00p.m. Burial will follow at Lake Grove
Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to

Always loved Alice and Gordon. I am VERY sorry to hear she passed. Alice was a special person. Always had a smile on her face and warmth in her heart. I am sorry I am not there to send my condolonces in person. My best to the entire family! Love you all!
